Coffee acidity is a pleasant sour taste sensation in quality coffee.
The acidity level of coffee does not determine whether the quality of the coffee is good or bad. In fact, often the characteristics of coffee from different origins are characterized by specific levels of acidity.
Bali Kintamani Coffee has a stronger citric acid taste compared to Gayo Sumatra Coffee which tends to have a lower acidity level. However, this does not indicate that the quality of Bali Kintamani coffee is better than Aceh Gayo coffee, Sumatra, or vice versa.
Coffee acidity can be very subjective. To make it easier to describe the sour taste sensation of coffee, it usually refers to the taste of fruit. For example, the sour sensation of lemons, red apples, grapes, peaches, and so on.
